Rodney Nichols is a passionate storyteller, certified John Maxwell speaker, trainer, and coach with a mission to inspire others. His journey into writing began in 2021, sparked by a poetry writing workshop and a children’s book course at a community college in Omaha, Nebraska. These experiences resulted in a deep passion for storytelling, leading to the creation of beloved works such as The Adventures of Zara and Papa Rodney: Hot Air Balloon Adventure, Zara and Papa Rodney Day at the Zoo Adventure, and the Poems, Prayers, and Affirmations series.
Beyond writing, Rodney brings a wealth of experience from his roles as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher, where he cultivated a unique ability to connect with diverse audiences. His background as a production supervisor for over 20 years further shaped his approach to leadership, enabling him to offer practical insights and strategies through his coaching services.
As a licensed Minister of the gospel, his work is guided by a commitment to holistic well-being and spiritual growth. His unique combination of literary artistry, leadership expertise, and spiritual guidance makes him a powerful advocate for personal and community development.
In addition, as the proud host of the “Just in Case You Missed Sunday” podcast, Rodney leads a weekly Bible study designed to equip, encourage, empower, and convict listeners, inspiring them to cultivate a closer relationship with God through insightful discussions, meaningful scripture exploration, and practical applications for everyday life. The podcast is streamed live on Facebook and YouTube and is available on most podcast platforms, making it accessible to a wide audience.
